Meet the muk mat RV Step Mat — made to fit the interior step of your RV, this mat is your first line of defence to help keep the muk outside where it belongs.
The RV Step Mat is available in three shapes/sizes and pairs perfectly with a Medium, Large or Extra Large Ground Mat.
Dimensions:
- Rounded Medium: 23” × 10”
- Rounded Large: 23.5” × 11”
- Rectangle Large: 23.5” × 11”
IMPORTANT: Step dimensions vary between RVs. Please measure your step before selecting a size to ensure the best fit.
Pro tip: If your mat will sit close to the door, consider sizing down to allow easy door closure. For extra safety, we recommend using the non-slip mesh included with your mat.
Please allow for a +/- 3/8” sewing tolerance on all mat measurements.
Note: The muk mat RV Step Mat does not include velcro straps. If you need straps, check out our muk mat RV Step Cover, designed to be secured to your RV steps with velcro straps.

CARING FOR YOUR MAT
Our tips for keeping your muk mat in tip top shape!
- Shake the dirt out by holding the corners (NOT the velcro straps)
- Rinse or wash with warm soapy water (do not use bleach)
- Hang to dry
HEAT DAMAGE RISK: As with any plastic material, artificial turf can be damaged by intense heat such as that caused by refracted light from materials such as glass, aluminium checker plate step sides and stainless steel. This is rare, but please take care to avoid.

TRIP OR SLIP HAZARD: All mats and floor rugs can have the opportunity to be a trip or slip hazard. muk mat blades are made from plastic which have the potential to be slippery, especially when wet. Please take care and ensure you minimise the risk of falls with our step mats and covers by securely fastening your mat and or using the provided non-slip mesh underneath. When using RV stairs, risks of falls or slips can be reduced by ascending and descending slowly and holding onto a steady object.
DYE LEACHING RISK: Although colourfast, contact with some cleaners may lead to dye leaching. Ensure your muk mat is dry or placed in dry conditions to avoid transfer to other materials, including vinyl flooring.
