CARING FOR YOUR MAT

Our tips for keeping your muk mat in tip top shape!

  1. Shake the dirt out by holding the corners (NOT the velcro straps)
  2. Rinse or wash with warm soapy water (do not use bleach)
  3. Hang to dry

HEAT DAMAGE RISK: As with any plastic material, artificial turf can be damaged by intense heat such as that caused by refracted light from materials such as glass, aluminium checker plate step sides and stainless steel. This is rare, but please take care to avoid.

TRIP OR SLIP HAZARD: All mats and floor rugs can have the opportunity to be a trip or slip hazard. muk mat blades are made from plastic which have the potential to be slippery, especially when wet. Please take care and ensure you minimise the risk of falls with our step mats and covers by securely fastening your mat and or using the provided non-slip mesh underneath. When using RV stairs, risks of falls or slips can be reduced by ascending and descending slowly and holding onto a steady object.

DYE LEACHING RISK: Although colourfast, contact with some cleaners may lead to dye leaching. Ensure your muk mat is dry or placed in dry conditions to avoid transfer to other materials, including vinyl flooring.

Love the product. We used it in the van as a secondary mat and due to the primary outside, this mat was still clean. Rinsed it after a shake and the water was clear. Highly recommend this mat.

We have Muk mats for the caravan steps and outside. This smaller one is perfect size for just inside the van. Just what’s required for those dirty shoes.

They are a very good product.

We bought the green one for the garage entry into the house..the dog loves it, nice and soft for him to lie on.
The other day it was raining and the dog did not want to go outside in the down pour, to my horror he had urinated on the mat.
It's green..
The dog thought of grass..
So I took the mat out in the rain and hit it with the hose attachment on high..then drapped it over the fence and left it in the rain.
The next day I pulled the Muk Mat off the fence, it was dry and no dog wee smell what so ever.

Great for the van

The square mat is perfect for the top of the steps, just inside the door of our van. Great for capturing any last remnants of sand on the feet (we have the rectangular mat at the bottom of the steps.
