IMPORTANT: RV step dimensions vary. Please measure your steps and select the correct step system, number of steps, and step width to ensure a proper fit.

For an extra layer of safety, we recommend using the non-slip mesh included with your step covers.

Please allow for a +/- 3/8” sewing tolerance on all mat measurements.

CARING FOR YOUR MAT

Our tips for keeping your muk mat in tip top shape!

Shake the dirt out by holding the corners (NOT the velcro straps)
Rinse or wash with warm soapy water (do not use bleach)
Hang to dry

HEAT DAMAGE RISK: As with any plastic material, artificial turf can be damaged by intense heat such as that caused by refracted light from materials such as glass, aluminium checker plate step sides and stainless steel. This is rare, but please take care to avoid.

TRIP OR SLIP HAZARD: All mats and floor rugs can have the opportunity to be a trip or slip hazard. muk mat blades are made from plastic which have the potential to be slippery, especially when wet. Please take care and ensure you minimise the risk of falls with our step mats and covers by securely fastening your mat and or using the provided non-slip mesh underneath. When using RV stairs, risks of falls or slips can be reduced by ascending and descending slowly and holding onto a steady object.

DYE LEACHING RISK: Although colourfast, contact with some cleaners may lead to dye leaching. Ensure your muk mat is dry or placed in dry conditions to avoid transfer to other materials, including vinyl flooring.

Quality product. Excellent delivery time. We use it at home, in the caravan, when we go to the beach. Does a fantastic job of keeping dirt and sand levels done.

Light Grey Large Muk Mat & Caravan Step Mats

Wow! We purchased the large light grey Muk Mat and 2 light grey caravan step mats for our new caravan “Lola” and absolutely love these mats.
The Muk Mats catch all the dirt and the step mats really help our elderly Standard Poodle,,Abigail, get in and out of our van as the steps aren’t slippery for her anymore.
Our Miniature Poodle, Hugo, thinks he looks very handsome on the large mat!

It’s as good as they say

Bought two small mats and two large mats - one for outside the front door. It’s already made a difference to the front hallway - the sun shines on it and shows all the footprints tracked through (with my regular door mat) but no more, hallway looks great and stays dirt free.
Am taking grandies away for two weeks in the motorhome - that’ll be the real test! Will have a large mat outside, two mats on the steps and another mat inside for the crumbs. Looking forward to not brushing / sweeping the inside every couple of hours. Mat feels good under your feet too. Suggest sewing the brand label under the trim as I don’t like it so obvious. Wanted another light grey one for the deck area but sold out. Thank you - it was definitely worth the investment!

Great mats I will be using them when we travel in our caravan but at the moment I am using them at home and keeping my floors much cleaner than other mats I’ve used.

House Boat

You would think it’s custom made as it Fits perfectly at the back door and bathroom door on our house boat, under the back cover. Will be interesting to see how it copes with salt water, sand and a bit of sun when the sun is low.
Feels beautiful under foot and hope it lessens the transfer of water from wet feet.
Will be saving up to buy another 2 mats for high traffic areas inside the house boat, will add a luxury feel under foot.

We currently offer RV Step Covers in 20" and 23.5" widths to suit popular entry step systems, but we strongly recommend you measure your steps to ensure the best fit.

If I pick the wrong size, can I return it?

Of course! If a mat isn't the right fit, we'll happily exchange it. Just reach out within 30 days and we'll arrange a replacement. Please note that you'll need to cover the cost of return shipping.

How do I clean them?

Most of the time it will just need a shake and a brush down with your hand.

For long-term maintenance, you can simply wash your muk mat with water using a hose. This is ideal if you just want to remove any excess mud and dirt.
