Haven’t unpacked it yet. Waiting to use them in our caravan. Will evaluate once they are used.
I have purchased other brands in the past but Muk Mats are far superior. I recommend them to my friends.
We got the triple Van set and we know these work. It’s like 3 layer protection on keeping the sand/soil outside of our van.

Velcro straps seem awkward and inadequate, pull out step mat jambs in step mechanism when folding step in. Expected better for what these cost
Hi Grant, sorry that this has been your experience. We recommend that you definitely don't leave your mat on the step at all times. They are designed to be removed, shaken out and stored away safely when not in use to ensure their longevity. Travelling with them installed would subject them to muk, grit, grease, tar, oil etc which may lead to faster deterioration and could create a slippery surface. We have owned and used the original bundle of muk mats for a couple of years now. We love them all but we recently added the portable step mat to our collection and that is a real game changer. We travel full time in our caravan with our 13yo labrador and she loves coming into the van using the soft steps. Saves so much sand and dirt coming inside. We are all happy campers. Thank you.
Had the small step mat at first which is great so decided to get the whole set , great for collecting sand and dirt from entering the van.

Nothing wrong with this product, in fact it’s wonderful. When I ordered I chose the wrong first step mat. I chose two of the rounded corners instead of one rounded and one square with Velcro. I contacted Muk Mat and they offered to change over. We just went away for a week and I didn’t have time to do the swap we were at a beach holiday park and I was suitably impressed with the results. I attached the first step mat with a couple of bungie cord fasteners. No debris made it into the van. We just shook the mats out every couple of days to clean then.
Very happy with my mats. I actually heard about Mukmats from a private facebook site (Explorer Motorhomes) and they were spot on. Good value, they work!
